Now that a Valencian archive as important as the Memory Closet has been uploaded, dedicated to recovering, to preserve and spread the memory of sexist dissensions, projects like Lineage become more necessary. It is a drag play by the Valencian artist Corazón that explores a lineage queer outside the traditional logic of blood ties, rather built through shared experiences: l’exili LGTB+, the nocturnal subversion, folklore, the desire or influence of religion. The tour starts with the grandmother of Corazón and expands to icons of dissident culture such as Rampova, Almodóvar and Grace Jones. To round off the experience, each night two local guest artists will join the performance, with very diverse trajectories and contexts. AU
