The cos

FROM FRIDAY 13 ON SUNDAY 22/2
THE MACHINE. Stop Jofré, 7

On the day of his thirtieth birthday, Laia asks her mother for the car to do some quick shopping and, just leaving, gets a call that changes everything: “Return, everything is flooding". A few hours later, the water has already receded leaving a trail of destruction. Isolated at home with the door blocked by garbage, Laia is horrified to discover a body in the yard dragged by the mud… The cos is a monologue that reflects on trauma, loneliness and the human ability to survive when everything collapses. A co-production of Running away from Escalimpal i Piecework Theater, two companies willing to fatten our collective memory so that the catastrophe that shook the Ribera and the Horta on 29 of October 2024 do not fall into oblivion.
