Virginia and Lorenzo call the vet because their turtle is very sick. Virginia's sister also comes to the house. The veterinarian then launches an interrogation that places the characters in extreme situations and leads them to reveal unexpected confessions. The stone of madness shows how an everyday situation can lead to an approach to the great universal themes and the existential doubts of the human being, while addressing different faces of madness. The title of the work refers to a belief in the Middle Ages according to which mental illnesses arose from a stone that affected the brain of the sick. GEMMA SANCHIS
