Georg Friedrich Händel will allow us to travel to ancient Egypt with Julius Caesar In Egypt, an opera in three acts that deals with the meeting between Julius Caesar and Cleopatra, in the midst of the struggle for the Egyptian throne between the queen and her brother Ptolemy. This work premiered in London in 1724, but it wasn't until 1964 which was performed for the first time in Spain. Now we have the opportunity to enjoy one of Handel's most famous operas in Valencia, from Marc Minkowski's mother, who has already been successful as music director of the Orchestra of the Valencian Community.
