the word Numbers it aims to link two different terms and thus articulate spirituality, desire and mathematical structure in dance. The program of the National Dance Company brings together the work of three key choreographers—Georges Balanchine, William Forsythe i Jacopo Godani— who have developed a formal and numerical choreographic thinking, in which choreography is constructed as a field of tensions between what is rational and what is corporeal. Open the show Serenade, inspired by the work of Tchaikovsky; then we have the absolute premiere d’Echoes from a Restless Soul; and the evening closes with the work of New Yorker Forsythe, Playlist (Track 1, 2), where classical dance and contemporary movements are combined.
