"Cinema can be entertainment, evasion and spectacle. But it can also be memory, denunciation and transformation". This is how cinema understands the Festival competition Committed Citizen Cinema, which puts the focus on human rights, the culture of pau, equality, diversity i, especially, the cinema in Valencian. Some of these themes occupy the center of the films that make up its programming. Like this, we will see, among others, works like Behind the surface d'Iván Fernández González, pass again of Amparo Fortuny i Voices from a street d’Elena Soler González, three documentary pieces that show the consequences of the damage we suffered in the past 29 of October.
