Complete retrospective of one of the benchmark directors of world cinema, the Japanese Yasujiro Ozu. Ozu's work has inspired directors all over the world, from his compatriot Hirokazu Koreeda, fins a l'alemany Wim Wenders (Tokyo-ga) or the Finnish Aki Kaurismäki. Ozu's cinema stands out for its subtle sensitivity to human dramas. A quality that would mark his way of rolling, with its characteristic fixed planes at ground level and the use of lenses that do not distort the image with the aim of not disfiguring our gaze.
