Fifth edition for this festival of a social nature that, on this occasion, proposes a reflection on the problems of coexistence in contemporary society, such as conflicts derived from xenophobia, gentrification and fake news. The program of Socialmed It has a sample of short films in which we will see titles such as Captives by Itxaso Díaz, Their Zone de Nagore Eceiza o Kayar's canoes by Álvaro Hernández Blanco. Besides, We will attend two roundtable discussions around two pressing issues: Coexistence vs.. gentrification, y Coexistence vs.. xenophobia. This year, Socialmed will award its Ulysses Awards to the Valencian cartoonist Paco Roca and to the association Valencia hosts. G.LEON
