All Kubrick

THE FILMTECA. Pl. town hall, 17

Starting this month of February, the Filmoteca offers us a comprehensive cycle of what has been one of the most influential directors of North American cinema of the second half of the 20th century., Stanley Kubrick. His hand turned to the use of the camera, lighting, music and stage direction and, with all this, a la forma de contar historias para la gran pantalla. This month we will see his first short films, three documentary pieces, pequeños retratos humanos que nos hablan de la vida cotidiana de un boxeador en Day of the fight, de un modesto cura rural que realiza su trabajo de asistencia gracias a una avioneta en Flying padre, or the life of the shipping union in The seafarers. All this on a big screen and at a price that, let's go, neither Netflix nor anything. G.LEON
