After the nice Timeshare, French director Olivier Assayas temporarily returns to political cinema to portray one of the key figures of contemporary politics: Vladimir Putin. Based on the novel by Giuliano da Empoli, The Kremlin Wizard tells the story of Vadim Baranov, a playwright turned television producer who will pave the political career of the Russian leader.
