After the nice Timeshare, French director Olivier Assayas temporarily returns to political cinema to portray one of the key figures of contemporary politics: Vladimir Putin. Based on the novel by Giuliano da Empoli, The Kremlin Wizard tells the story of Vadim Baranov, a playwright turned television producer who will pave the political career of the Russian leader. After helping him conquer power thanks to his mastery of image, Baranov will be trapped by Putin's war ambitions. Amazing Jude Law. G.LEON
