One year after receiving the Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival, arrives Mug, a drama that delves into the roots of rural Poland. Reflection on identity and the construction of our external image, The film tells the story of Jacek, an attractive young man who loves his girlfriend, his dog and him heavy metal. Jacek works on what will be the largest statue of Christ in the world, but a work accident disfigures his face. After a complicated recomposition operation, Jacek will have to rebuild his life in an environment that marginalizes him. G.LEON
