They say that this summer we Spaniards will spend an average of €600 per person on our vacations. The tourism sector claps its hands at such a perspective, but, between mojitos and beach towels, We could well save some time for culture. In that sense, the Summer Film Library offers us a screening program for the entire month of August with three cycles. The first of which is titled Harvest of prizes and like every year, brings us closer to some of the award-winning films during the course that ends. We will see the unclassifiable holy spirit from Chema García Ibarra from Elche, Berlanga Award for Best Valencian Film; Coda the Siân Heder, Oscar for Best Picture 2022; The good boss by Fernando León de Aranoa, great winner of this year's Goya; y Titanium by Julia Ducournau, Palme d'Or 2021. The cycle Universe Wong Car-Water will be dedicated to the Chinese director with five titles: Chungking express, Fallen angels, Happy together, as well as the diptych formed by Wishing to love y 2046. Finally, Movie buff anniversaries proposes us to celebrate the anniversary of two masterpieces: Cabaret by Bob Fose and Nosferatu f. W. Murnau. G.LEON
