The title of the film already gives us a clue of what we are going to see., since “otsoga” refers to the month of August, but written backwards. This is how this story also goes, from the end to the beginning. In Otsoga Diaries, two boys and a girl are confined due to Covid in a rural farm. To occupy their time they build a butterfly greenhouse. We see the days go by between baths in the pool and the ripening of a quince. Disorderly story for disorderly times.
