urban-agenda-toxicosmos-february-2019THE BEATLES HAIRDRESSER
Leslie Cavendish
Indications | 2018
Much has been written about the Beatles., but this is different. This is one of those stories that fascinate, that of someone who, from the shadows, was a privileged witness to an entire global phenomenon: Leslie Cavendish. Why The now retired writer was once a hairdresser, and none other than the four most famous people in the history of Liverpool. And like in the best stories, it all started by chance: Leslie met Paul's then girlfriend, that one day he invited him to his house to cut the Beatle's hair and soon he was the hairdresser for the entire band.. In those years he saw everything, and from the greatest of respect (He does not hide his fascination with the group since he was very young.) He tells us about the developments in the recording of his most famous albums, tours and their most personal relationships. A book written as a novel, with its dialogues and descriptions that will easily transport you to the decade of the 60. A story from beginning to end with brushes, scissors and combs as the common thread of a story told from a curious prism. The story of the man responsible for turning a hairstyle into an icon (to the horror of parents from half the world) and that he never even thought about keeping a lock of Lennon and company's hair. Essential if you, like Leslie, You are also a Beatles fan.
