We return in October to summarize in 64 pages the best of the culture that will pass through Valencia during the month. Starting with the 38 Valencia exhibition (on the cover) which this year presents the Palm Tree of Honor to the Italian director Paolo Sorrentino. Cinema will also serve us animation (Cortoons y Prime the animation), short (Cortocomenius, Quarter films y Authors in short) and films that revolve around Human Rights (13 Cycle of Cinema and Human Rights). In music the festival reigns Love to Rock featuring Lori Meyers and Second, among many others. But we will also have Anglo-Saxon groups (Velvet crush, Teenage fanclub, The sisters of mercy, The murder capital…) and they sing in Spanish, each one in their own way (The killer swing, He killed a motor cop, Solea Morente…). The theater in October is danced, in Circuit Loops, which has prepared an edition full of African or Afro-descendant artists who will bring their culture to us. There will be horror theater at the Talia (The woman in black), Lola Herrera is coming to star Addicts al Olympia, Sol Picó presents his Damn feathers at Les Arts and the Sala Russafa offers us the adaptation of If this is a man of Primo Levi. New openings of exhibitions such as those of Andrew Alfaro in La Nau and Antonio Saura At the Bancaja Foundation they come to brighten the lives of art lovers and in the Proposta section we have something for all tastes.: Viewpoints of Horta, Open House Valencia and the brainy Humanities Festival in Dénia with presentations by great thinkers from around the world. Besides, we discover Maria the Javelin (Astiberri) in comic format by Cristina Durán and Miguel A. Giner Bou, we get into dystopia (or not so much) of The architect, we prepare a coffee cake birthday girl, We cook our own dishes in the broths of Seventeen Hot Pot and we take a walk down the street Puerto Rico to discover more about Café Madrigal, Lanevera, Madame Mim and the Moroccan restaurant Zakaria. AU is on the road again!
