At the end of April will land the canonical Book Fair in the Gardens of Vivers, but before that we can enjoy the Exhibition of the Anarchist Book, that this year blows out the twenty candles. At the traditional book stall in Plaça del Carme you won't find anything from Planeta or Penguin Random House, but cultural artifacts of a protesting spirit that put capitalism in the middle of the target, masculinity and fascism. The program was opened by Miquel Ramos presenting Antifascists, a book that reviews the struggles against the Spanish extreme right from the 1990s; and it is closed by Andrea Momoitio with Lunatic, a story about the charred corpse of María Isabel Gutiérrez Velasco that was found in the Basauri prison on 1977. The theater will be present in the form of a dramatized anarchist route and a conventional play by A Tiro Hecho, that will represent The Solidarity. There will also be punk concerts, rap and electronica, an exhibition on the Valencian cultural scene linked to anarchism and self-managed social centres, conversations around fanzines and anarcho-feminism, and screening of the documentary Against the current about two young people involved in the Berlin alternative scene of the eighties who had to flee to Venezuela. Certainly, also presentations, for example, from the comic Everything you like hurts me by Teodoro Hernández or the book Miquel Grau 53/1977 about the far-right attack against the young Miquel Grau.
