Many festivals dedicated to urban art have arrived over time, but the Pollinate which organizes the Polytechnic University of Valencia it was pioneering and very original at its beginning more than fifteen years ago. In 2022 have invited four Mexican artists to develop interventions in different spaces of the Vera Campus that will review traditional stamping and engraving in a political key. The one who fan Mari Mariel, Santiago Armengod “Mazatli”, Edith Chávez and Mario Guzmán is to cross different forms of urban guerrilla art — mural painting, graffiti, glued paper and stencils— to transform decolonial approaches into images. The poster is complemented by artists chosen by public call: Bernard Puig “Children” (Cal Rosal), Edoardo Ettorre (Giulianova, ITA), Ignacio Madrilli “Drill” (Sevilla) i Furyo (alfalfa). S.M.
