October arrives once again, and with him, the expected Intramuros, one of the festivals that has become a benchmark of Valencian cultural life in its own right. This year it will take place 18 al 28 October and will be distributed throughout different spaces in the city center. On this fifth anniversary, your motto, #atopic, tries to highlight the values that revolve around new creative processes, to craftsmanship and things made with time and dedication, making us reflect, through art, about the need to stop more and feel more in all areas of our lives. As has happened on previous occasions, the hybrid festival to innovate, both in arts and culture, through processes that bring together social and economic sectors such as crafts, commerce or hospitality. Besides, with its incessant participatory vocation, Intramurs invites citizens to experience the festival from within, making them the absolute protagonist of the event.
Although the essence of the festival remains intact, intramurals 2018 comes loaded with news, starting with the new location of Espacio Ideo. This time it will be Convent Carmen, in the Convent of San José and Santa Clara, the one who will open its doors allowing, both in its surprising church and in its impressive interior garden, a multitude of activities take place, parties or exhibitions. Besides, We will enjoy the presence of artists of recognized international prestige who choose Valencia as the setting for their works or performances. Inter alia, we find the controversial Omar Jerez, the spontaneous ones Factory Nomad or the surprising Pablo Milicua.
