FROM MONDAY 19 ON THURSDAY 22/6
VILLA ROSITA. Camí dels Horts, s/n (picanya)
Varied culture, weekdays and on the outskirts, this is what brings us one Horts Festival which this year celebrates its fifth edition under the motto "Origins". Start the festival strong with a sound installation ofEdu Comelles which recreates the sounds of the countryside during the summer and two scenic pieces: The praise of the fissure of Lorena Quite (member of The Veronal), dance that celebrates self-acceptance and the beauty that is born from the imperfect; i L’Abrador, a play of historical memory that pivots on the common graves of the republicans shot by Francoism. The music will come from the hand of Carles Dénia Trio [22], of the violinist Leticia Moreno playing Bach music [21] i of the pianist Vittorio Forte Chopin's regalant-nos notes [20]. Besides, we can see the documentary In a low voice [20] by Heidi Hassan and Patricia Pérez Hernández about the experiences of two Cuban filmmakers and migrants (there will be a preliminary discussion with the directors) and visit an exhibition piece resulting from the artistic residence of Luke Margrau i Carlos Llonch, with drinks and snacks served by local catering businesses at popular prices.
