THE CONVENT ART SPACE. Hospital, 5 (Vila-Real)
TEST is a show of art and creativity from Vila-Real that every year, from fa set, highlights the work of four artists by exhibiting their work and publishing four personalized books for them. This year they will exhibit in the Ana Císcar room, Jesus Monterde i Luce, Mohamed L'Ghacham will be in charge of the mural intervention. Ana Císcar appropriates old photographs, archive or press and transfers them to the plastic language based on blurring, recompose and juxtapose the originals. The castellon Jesus Monterde (Benassal) is a self-taught photographer who impressed with his book Nemini Parco, a rough and stark portrait of the rural areas of Maestrat and Teruel. In TEST he will deepen this line, documenting gestures and rites that occur in the region with an overwhelming naturalness. A LUCE we know him well in Valencia, we can see his interventions in facades, you tend, lampposts, awnings and blinds of the outskirts diving into the daily life of the city. Finally, from Mataró, Mohamed L’Ghacham fixes on walls, on a large scale, everyday and familiar actions like a toast, a sink with dishes to wash or a children's birthday party. AU
