Red On (what the hell do you want?)

Beautiful vulva of a thousand shapes and colors like the real ones. Laura Redón is thealma mater de Red On, a project with the slogan what the hell do you want?, emerged from drawing vulvas at the University of Fine Arts while she herself explored her body and stamping techniques. Show this hidden part of the female body "that if you don't look you can't see", in a fresh way, funny and desymbolized, demonstrates the incredible power of art to deal with issues that are sometimes difficult for society. Accompanied by Brenda García, which is in charge of the economic and commercial part of the project, Red On shows the most beautiful vulvas printed on canvas bags on social media, handkerchiefs, notebooks, plates or postcards. It remains to be done, but they are advancing by leaps and bounds and today you can find vulves at the Terra Social Centre (Benimaclet), to the small watchmaker Carmen Domínguez (Dr. Gomez Ferrer, 15) o a la Fira de Nadal de l’institut Lluís Vives. The digital store is coming soon, while Laura is continuing to train in Indonesia with a Batik Fellowship (traditional technique for dyeing fabrics).
