Caixaforum has prepared a schedule for summer Thursdays themed nights full of humor, music, dance and circus. Nit de swing [6/7] includes the concert of La Dancing Pepa Swing Band, a fashion show vintage i tallers de swing, hairdresser and handkerchiefs; Night of movement [11/7] will allow us to enjoy experimenting with the flamenco codes of Leonor Leal, and of Fight, where two dancers will use contemporary dance as a fight; Night of humor [20/7] will look for laughter with the improvisers ofImpro Barcelona, a comic monologue Bruno Oro about the art of getting lost, i a Safari sonor which will tour with the public different spaces of the CaixaForum to capture the sounds that occur inside the centre. Rhythm night [27/7] will discover the sounds of the instrument of Basque culture by antonomy, la tchalaparta, by the hand of the quintet Balance TX, and the traditional melodies of West Africa that come from the portable balafons of La Complet’Mandingue (Michael Jackson or Serge Gainsbourg are also invited in the repertoire). Besides, there will be a body percussion workshop and another where you can discover the sound of a Balinese gamelan.
