At a time when uncertainty reigns in our lives, You Mouth, the festival and illustrated book fair, intends to combat this 2020 With words, wonderful illustrations and readings. Although adapted to these turbulent times, This third edition has not lost a bit of the initial essence, as it offers exuberant proposals for both the general public and professionals in the sector.. The fair will be installed one more year in the Gothic cloister of the Center del Carmen, privileged enclave that will host twenty-four exhibitors, mostly national publishers, like the Valencians Half Cow, LITERA BOOKS y Barlin Books; y Barbara Fiore Publisher, Edelvives, o Red Fox Books, among others, and that together with the international Lemon, from Argentina, Ekaré, from Venezuela and Black Orpheus, Portugal, they form a luxury selection. Valencian bookstores Bangarang, Seagull Books (Gandia), The First, Bartleby y Paper dreams (Benedict) They will also exhibit their best specimens. This edition could not miss the illustration exhibition that will be housed in one of the center's rooms, bringing together in the same space delicious pieces from well-known professionals such as Cachetejack, Malota, Joan Negrescolor, Sr. López, o Catarina Sobral, and not so well known but worth knowing, as Mar Villar, Do and undo or Jotaka. But a festival is not such without interesting activities, so aim: on Friday 11/12 a las 17h. We will have a talk with the creators of Wonder ponder, a beautiful editorial project of visual philosophy for kids (in person online); Saturday 12/12 at 12h., Elisa M. Matallín will leave girls and boys wide-eyed with its puppet show How beautiful Panama is!; the afternoon of the same Saturday, a las 17h., the illustrator Joan Negrescolor will offer an in-person and unmissable talk.
