Valencian art galleries have long understood that there is strength in numbers and they launched an event called the Valencia Open that, basically, consists of the joint inauguration of the exhibitions that open the season and a series of guided routes structured by areas of Valencia. The goal is for the general public to stop seeing art as an elitist and incomprehensible invention and end up entering through the door.. The offer is large and varied, there will be paint, sculpture, drawing, installation, photomontage and video art, abstraction and committed art, young promises and established artists who are no longer here. Tania Blanco, always political, demonstrates its technical expertise by reproducing logos and fonts of the most powerful companies in our country (Telefónica, Ferrovial, Mercadona, Santander…) to subvert images and question rich conglomerates.
