Vociferio, the poetry festival of Valencia, has pasted this 2018 a good leap towards its consolidation. Grows in days duration, in spaces, in events and in number of poets that make up the poster. The movement starts from Thursday 7/6 with the Festa Alçaveu on the esplanade of the Public Library of Valencia,the Spanish Poetry Slam Championship at the IVAM [8-9/6], the music of Javier Gm & Burguitos and Carlos Ávila, and exhibition recital of the duo formed by Pep Gimeno “Botifarra” (famous singer from Albaes) and the speaker David Vid with Dani Orviz (European Champion of Slam Poetry and third in the world). But the festival itself takes place during the following week [14-17/6] at the Carme Teatre with performances by Angelo Nestor, Angela Segovia, Maria Salgado, Claudia Facci, Juan Carlos Mestre, and the Valencians Berta García Faet y Tremole, among others. On the other hand, the Center del Carme will host the Publishers Fair with the best poetry publishers from all over the country, and recitals and concerts by Versonautas, Eva Callud, Javier Gallego Crudo and Seward, Mansilla and the Spies, and Fatima Miranda.
