14 Black Tuesday

FROM TUESDAY 23/1 ON TUESDAY 4/6
SPORTING CLUB RUSSAFA. Sevilla, 5

New cycle of literary gatherings organized by the local area ofAmnesty International next to the bookstore Red Harvest and the cultural association Sporting Club Russafa. Black Tuesday puts the focus this year on those imaginary borders built to mark its sovereignty over territories and people and to stop migratory flows caused by economic policies of colonial origin, wars and climate change. The problems arising from all this will be discussed in talks that revolve around six very interesting books: emigrants de Shaun Tan [23/1], another life, still de Theodor Kallifatides [13/2], Upwind d’Ángeles Case [12/3], Notes for a shipwreck by Davide Enia [16/4], Border Woman d'Helena Maleno [7/5] i No other friend than the mountains by Behrouz Boochani [4/6].
