The two urban music concerts held in January at the Center del Carme have been liquidated—those ofAnna Millo i Harvest—, the SGAE takes home the three remaining concerts of its traditional Indrets Sonors music cycle. The popular music section includes the flamenco and jazz pianist resident in Benicarló Juan Cortes [12], who became a benchmark for flamenco piano with his first album On Jurep; the singer-songwriter of Novelda Alejandro Ruiz [19], which basically drinks from Spanish pop-rock; i Anuk [26], a Valencian duo formed by the singer Mariola Vila and the guitarist Manu Valero that mixes rock influences, l’indie, folk and blues.
