One more time, the consolidated Visor Fest we are approached by a handful of renowned bands from the past who are still active. In a selection where English groups predominate, the poster is headed by Manic Street Preachers with that peculiar musical language that maintains the balance between punk roots and reflective pop melodies. We have a step lower The Damned, iconic band that created gothic punk that commemorates its 50th anniversary on stage. They will accompany them Ride, formed in the nineties featuring distorted and reverberated guitars; Ocean Colour Scene, which in his case celebrates the 30th anniversary of the album Moseley Shoals; and the eighties alternative rock band New Model Army. The Swedes will come too The Wannadies, with an energetic and infectious pop, thank you, a party, to its characteristic boy/girl harmonies; i Gene, with a sweet pop jangle similar to The Smiths. Finally, the veterans Hoodoo Gurus, from Australia, they will serve us some magnificent and forceful rock and roll. And while the technicians arrange the stage between performances, DJ Eneida Fever, Luis Bonias, Alesa and Mario Oldies will perform to make the wait for the audience more entertaining. XIMO MARQUIS
