WIM MERTENS

TEM. Pl. rosary, 3

Straddling two worlds, Wim Mertens He is one of the few contemporary composers who has managed to break the solid barrier between classical music and light music.. Minimalist, avant-garde, rupturist, transparent, melodic are just some of the adjectives that surround this artist who seeks something much simpler in his works.: music as a form of human expression. Thirty years after his first performance in Spain, makes a stop in our country by hanging the poster sold out in many of the theaters where he will perform this March. Presents as a duo, with the violinist Tatiana Samouil, the themes of his trilogy Egg cran, a work in which he questions the connections between music, poetry and truth. EVA GARRIDO
