The musical bond between Neil Sheasby and Neil Jones is as strong as their band name, Stone Foundation. The group has asserted its friendship with the godfather of the mod, Paul Weller, for the production of his latest work, Street rituals. An album where they clearly develop a musical bodybuilding focused on a sound vintage, in the style of The Style Council, but through a clearly more modern vision. To all this we must add the collaborations of two legends of the soul as William Bell and Bettye LaVette on some of the album's cuts. What draws even more attention to this band that evokes a Memphis sound from the British Midlands. V.CASAÑA
