These two books complement each other., are needed to close the circle of beauty they tell us about. The first is the result of five expeditions that aim to find the ultimate beauty of the wild, the animal linked to the myth, one of nature's most elusive felines, adored by ancient cultures and that Munier tells us with majestic images while describing his complicated journey on the Tibetan plateau. And on the other hand, Tesson follows the photographer with the idea of observing these last leopard specimens. They tell us about spaces where the population declines and the fauna advances. To enjoy the leopard's passage you have to remain completely still for about thirty consecutive hours, well below zero. A praise to slowness, a philosophy of waiting.
