I saw it

UNTIL SUNDAY 18/2
CARME CENTER. Museum, 2

The exhibition I saw it of Pepe Miralles It was not presented at a press conference because two days before its inauguration the director of the Consortium of Museums had been dismissed., José Luis Pérez Pont, the main architect of the spectacular growth of visitors, quality and prestige of the Center del Carme during the last seven years. Pérez Pont left leaving one of those samples that probably worries the new regional executive for addressing the issue of AIDS and the stigmatization of the LGTBIQ+ community . In I saw it —title that refers to an engraving of Disasters of war by Goya— Pepe Miralles remembers the trauma of AIDS from within, with photographs, videos, facilities and personal objects that demonstrate, one more time, that the personal is political, denouncing one of the great violences that the LGTBIQ+ community has suffered in recent decades.
