THE SHIPWARDS. Pl. Juan Antonio Benlliure, s/n
The magazine MARK is behind this exhibition that starts from a play on words to encourage us to really see through the green that crosses the whole. The two sides of nature—placid and devastating—appear in this VerdeVerdad what collects the work of five artists: Calo Carratala, Francisco Caparros, Monica Jover Calvo, Olga Diego y Sebastián Nicolau. Carratalà paints seemingly virgin spaces with quick green brush strokes, where human life and nature coexist peacefully far from the urban. Francisco Caparrós does something similar, in manipulated photography format, with the shapes that the forests hide. Until here the placidity, until Olga Diego warns us about the accumulation of plastics in the oceans with the sculptural installation floating island, a kind of iceberg built with 3.612 recycled plastic bottles.
