A life in Paper

UNTIL SUNDAY 28/9
F. CHIRIVELLA SORIANO. Valeriola, 13

A life in Paper commemorates the twenty years of the Chirivella Soriano Foundation by highlighting its private collection. The exhibition emphasizes the importance of role as an artistic support and its relation to drawing in its different variants. It is well known that drawing has never enjoyed the same recognition as other disciplines fasting with painting or sculpture. For that, Chirivella Soriano wants to support him with this exhibition that covers contemporary Spanish art from the fifties - when the Parpalló or El Paso groups appeared - to the present day. These are decades traversed by abstraction, the figuration, expressionism, pop art and postmodernism, which are condensed here in the works of some of the most outstanding artists of Valencian and Spanish art of the 20th century: creators like Antonio Saura, Rafael Canogar, Luis Feito, Eduardo Arroyo, Eusebi Sempere, Juan Genovés, Chronicle Team, Jacinta Gil, Pepe Espaliú, Joaquin Michavila, Moaning, Martín Noguerol or José María Yturralde. Helga Grollo's pieces created on old recycled fabrics share space with them, grouped within the exhibition Syntopy. AU
