The suggestive title of this exhibition takes us into the colorful universe, explosive, enigmatic and ideological Cuqui Guillén, one of the most relevant artists of Valencian pop of the nineties. A subversive temptation aims to be understood as an unpublished rereading of his work. Throughout the 25 works exhibited point to the subversive forms that, from the suggestion, the enjoyment, memory and fetishism, can be created after pop. In fact, the common thread is joy of living, conjured with the mythologies of postmodernity, its controversies and inconsistencies, in a globalized world where temptation is articulated under feminism and artistic practice.
