Braiding time

F. CHIRIVELLA SORIANO. Valeriola, 13

Excellent abstract art exhibitions have been held by the Chirivella Soriano Foundation in recent times, by artists such as Martín Noguerol or Monika Book. The one from now, Braiding time, It is also one and allows us to delve into the artistic process that the Valencian Encarna Sepúlveda has followed since 2002 until now. We begin the tour on the first floor of the Palau de Valeriola with the series Dissonances in which the fundamental strokes that will mark the artistic career of the artist already appear.. It presents us with that acid green that is so characteristic of it and combines geometric shapes with organic shapes., that little by little they will lose ground until they disappear. The color palette will also be reduced. Lines, green and purple organic squares and shapes welcome black, to cubic forms later, and already on the second floor, to blue, who stars in the series Angles of the void next to black, to gray and the omnipresent green. This series is delicious. Then comes the one that gives its name to the exhibition and which culminates on the ground floor with an installation made expressly made from four lacquered iron modules that intertwine with each other forming a drawing in space. Chirivella Soriano collects recent work by a two-dimensional artist who has traveled to the purest abstraction. S.M.
