MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS. Pius V, 9
If there is anything this exhibition teaches us, it is that art does not understand periods or materials; the pieces of the 20th century are irretrievably united with more current ones: still lifes, portraits or landscapes from different centuries recover the classic genres in the same way, showing a common link. they are 66 works by artists such as Picasso, Valdés or Chillida who have traveled from the IVAM to the Museum of Fine Arts with the wind in their favor, docking in the walls where those of Sorolla awaited them, Ribalta or Joan de Joanes to show us that the most current artistic creation feeds on the past, and that the past can show, thanks to her, new and interesting readings.
