Esther Ferrer, pioneer of conceptual art and performance In Spain, She has freely moved through different artistic techniques using her body as a witness that the feminist maxim “our body belongs to us” has claimed.. In a time of repression of individual freedoms, Ferrer publicly exposes his body, sometimes naked, and recovers the simplicity of a gesture or the forcefulness of the random repetition of the same movement. The artist from San Sebastián starred in our double cover for March 2017 with his work Self-portrait in time and in this second exhibition at Espaivisor we will see precisely three self-portraits that turn the artist's face into a living presence over the years and works on paper titled Poems about prime numbers.
