Landscapes of displacement

To Saturday 24/1
G. JORGE LÓPEZ. Stop Jofré, 26

When his paintings of the salt lagoons still hang in the Center del Carmen, within the sample Common Ground, Cake Vilabelda opens a new exhibition at the Jorge López gallery, together with Federico Miro. Vilabelda remains focused on the processes of construction and transformation of natural landscapes and contemporary urban spaces. For its part, Miró represents natural landscapes through a technique that evokes textile art, suggesting the texture of interlaced fabrics and patterns that belong to another era. There are many stimuli that have led him down this path: sacred art, of course, but also his passage through the Royal Tapestry Factory, where he got to know first hand the work of the Flemish Renaissance artist Willem de Pannemaker, Així com ass are Japanese d' Hiroshige o Keisai Eiseen.
