Between 3.000 i 5.500 years has one of the oldest olive groves in the world, which is located in the town of Al-Walaja, in the West Bank. Escif also presents a series of watercolors of buildings destroyed by the Israeli army on which he has embroidered tatreez (typical Palestinian embroidery) different symbols of Palestinian resistance. You will also be able to see, hanging on the facade of La Nau, a canvas of the American Shepard Fairey with an illustration based on an image by Gazan photojournalist Belal Khaled, where a bloodied Palestinian child asking for help challenges us directly: “Can you hear us?” Lastly, we highlight the animation of the Italian Blu, made expressly for the exhibition with four hundred fragments of murals painted by the artist in the city of Marseille.
