Moments ago. From hell to paradise

Until Wednesday 30/1

THE SHIP. University, 2

In the mouths of those responsible for war, the phrase “just happened” (moments ago) It is always linked to images of destruction and death. The Iraq war unleashed on the painter Isidre Manils the need to express your rejection of the conflict, as we will see in the first room of this exhibition that represents the hell of war through penetrating and resounding pieces. The journey continues with the transition to purgatory, full of enigmatic works, until you arrive, finally, to paradise, presented as a disturbing place, a stranger, full of light behind open doors. Beautiful and sinister at the same time, On this path many questions arise: Will there be redemption for human beings after so much barbarity? GLORIA POZUELO
