Manuel Tolsá from the photographic view of Joaquín Bérchez

UNTIL SUNDAY 10/4
MuVIM. Quevedo, 10

They say that time travel is not possible...for now. But merging two temporal moments separated by a few centuries is something you can do in the new temporary exhibition at the MuVIM. It is about’a photographic exhibition in tribute to the architect, engineer and sculptor Manuel Tolsá, through the camera of another Valencian: Joaquin Berchez. The snapshots of arcs, balusters, motllures, classic orders, facades and domes transport us to Mexico of the late 18th and early 19th centuries, where the illustrated artist developed his work. The combination of these two reference figures of local culture links an enlightened vocation that defies the passing of the years. SNOWFLAKE
