With the opening of the space Manolo Valdes When falling, The artist's gallery in Valencia has decided to hit the course with a series of newly created heads, crowned with touches and hairstyles of all kinds. Serene and frontal faces contrast with free touches that break the symmetry with feathers, abstract fans or compositions. Valdés uses bronze, resin, Murano crystal, marble, alabaster, steel and aluminum with the firm intention of making the materials protagonists of the piece. Each one has their own laws (fragility, density…) and he knows it, That is why it does not intend to erase imperfections, but to incorporate them as part of the final aesthetics. Hence the title of the exhibition: Imperfect perfection, A good occasion to admire our recent work by our most recognized artist in the sphere of international art. AU
