Love is in the letter. Notebook of sonnets

UNTIL SUNDAY 14/5
MuVIM. Quevedo, 10

In Love is in the letter, Begoña Jordà combines illustration and digital techniques to create works full of poetry. objects, textures, words, phrases and masses of color compose graphic sonnets that drink from Richard Gens' decorative and funereal illustrations, a Belgian who, seeing business opportunities, he came to Madrid to found a printing press and foundry that became the capital between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th. The texts accompanying the illustrations come from the book letters (Campgraph) by typographer and poet Damià Rotger Miró, who exploits the expressive potential of typography as a plastic resource in design and art.
