The clothes we wear indicate how we are or how we want to be and, in the case of this sample, how we have been. Las 380 Pieces on display make the viewer reflect on the processes of creating the collective identity of Valencian men and women. through the study of traditional clothing. Identity is reflected in clothing that represents our essence.. The chronological framework covers from 1830 until the decade of 1980, showing pieces that tell us about the rise of the bourgeoisie, or of a growing working classes, and some traditional Valencian and others of international fashion. Through costume accessories of the time, document, articles, posters, advertising brochures, and some paintings. This look into the past gives us idyllic images of life in the fertile orchard of Valencia, the glorious past velluter of the city, the transport and communication revolution, the emergence of mass society, corsets and calves, the militia women and the choirs and dances of the Women's Section, the major falleras and the dresses of cockroach and bullfighter.
