The link d’Ignasi Aballí with cinema and literature is undeniable, that's why the project Disappearances which is part of this exhibition and which presents as a starting point the work of the French novelist and filmmaker Georges Perec: twenty movie posters expose his conception of the void, of the footprint or the absence. The idea of the camera as a mute witness also fascinates the artist, which presents eight photographs with texts describing violent situations that have been recorded with security cameras. we see, therefore, an intelligent artist, culte i tranquil, almost silent, of small gestures with great meaning. His work has already been exhibited in such prestigious museums as the MACBA or the Reina Sofía. GLORIA POZUELO
