A.R. Penck, Eva Lootz, Helge Leiberg, Susana Solano, Xavier Grau i Xisco Mensua, among others, they were producing graphic work in the engraving workshop created in 1991 for the Larger Gallery from Pollensa (Mallorca) as residences. Even 2016 the gallery published graphic works by artists of international stature, some large format and, all of them, exceptional examples of the great variety of techniques that can be applied within the general concept of engraving. In addition to graphic work, sculptural projects were also made in the Maior workshop and writers such as Clara Janés contributed their texts to collaborate with the plastic artists. A small focus of experimental effervescence in the islands that the UPV discovers to us for the delight of lovers of contemporary graphics. S.M.
