Drawing cabinet. Literate Azorín, 33
monthly, José Antonio Suárez Londoño meets with a group of students to practice the art of engraving. During these meetings, the Colombian artist has been producing a string of prints with varied motifs: rectangular paper sticks where dogs fit, front and profile portraits, half renaissance architectures, me orientals; baconades, criss-crossed boats, pets, planes, chess, flora and crowds. Art made with meticulous strokes and an enigmatic aura that flees from show and pomp to take refuge in calm and simplicity. With these few tools, Londoño is today a reference in the world of engraving in Latin America and internationally. AU
