Gervasio Sanchez He confesses that he would prefer not to have taken any of the photographs that have led him to win numerous awards, including the National Photography Award (2009), Well that would mean that wars do not exist. But, Unfortunately, We live in a world in which violence has stained every country with blood at one time or another., and he had to travel there to document it. This Anthology covers Gervasio's extensive photojournalistic career, more than thirty years of stubborn work in numerous war and post-war scenarios in Latin America, Europa, Asia and Africa. The exhibition is made up of 148 photographs, color and black and white, that freeze terrible moments of our history in synthetic and forceful snapshots, close and sober. The images are not suitable for everyone; despite its perfect technique and spectacular results, sometimes we have to look away, because all of them reveal the harshness of our time and of these countries where they languish, unjustly forgotten, the victims of barbarism.
