In the sample Flexible, The Valencian Carolina Valls affects the concept of space by mixing architecture, sculpture I painting. It is the result of an investigation into changing objects that does not accept simple geometric abstraction, it wants to show that the concept has priority over the aesthetics. Around the idea that figuration and abstraction are not antagonistic concepts, if not complementary, Valls develops two-dimensional and three-dimensional works - with a constructivist air - combining elements with different degrees of abstraction. And this combination generates more complex structures that contain interior spaces. Flexible is the presentation of geometry as a concept, not as aesthetics. AU
